As you look over the array of workshops offered, imagine spending the entire day at the beautiful and serene Farmstead setting doing the things you love. 10AM - 12PM Jewelry Redux
We will be combining vintage bits and baubles from old jewelry finds and pairing it with wire wrapping techniques and chain to create one-of-a-kind jewelry art piece with history. Workshop includes a wide array of vintage bits and baubles, vintage key, wire and findings. No two pieces will be the same. Students are encouraged to bring their own bits and baubles from Grandma’s jewelry box to add to their necklace. $50 class fee
12-1 PM Time for Shopping, Conversation and a Scrumptious Lunch from
$12 includes your choice of Cobb Salad or Chicken Salad Sandwich

1-3 PM Feather your Nest Collage Assemblage

Come and learn collage and distressing techniques to transform a handmade wooden shadowbox into a showcase for your nest that we will be creating and filling with vintage items. Included in your workshop is a vintage tintype photo, vintage buttons, bits of vintage lace, old key and vintage ephemera/sheet music to complete. Vintage bauble is included in workshop price, butWorkshop number is limited due to the vintage items used, so sign up fast for this one. Students are encouraged to bring their own small items to uniquely make it their own. $50 class fee
1-3 PM Dew-Kissed or Butterfly-Kissed Burlap Rose Pin
Burlap and bling combine to create a fun tea rose pin to adorn your favorite jean jacket lapel, handbag or pillow. We'll use burlap, wire and a pin back to fashion the rose. The "Dew-Kissed" Rose will sparkle with large and small vintage rhinestone embellishments; the "Butterfly-Kissed" Rose will wear a beaded wire butterfly that you will create using vintage pearls, rhinestones and some new beads. Choose Dew-Kissed or Butterfly-Kissed. $30 class fee
3:15-5:15 PM Sweet & Charming Soldering Class
Come learn techniques to capture your unique “you” between glass and solder. We will learn easy techniques to help you create 2 beautiful and unique solder pieces. Learn easy techniques on attaching dangles and jump rings from Sheila who was taught by the leading soldering artist Sally Jean Alexander. Vintage images will be provided to choose from, but students are encouraged to bring their own printed images to capture under 1” x 1” and 1” x 3” glass. $50 class fee

Gathering ideas from nature, colors, textiles, and vintage finds! It's about a lifestyle: rustic yet refined, out in the country, drawing from creation where there's casual elegance!
In the heart of winter, we will use wire and vintage embellishments to make a decorative family tree and creating lovely embellishments to add to make your tree unique.
Class fee includes product to make the tree, vintage thread spoons, wire, key, crystal, vintage papers and beads. All materials shown are included, but you are welcome and encouraged to add your own buttons, ephemera, photos and findings.
2010 marks a New Year, possibly a new career, a new path just waiting to be discovered. This is a new beginning... a journal about you. We will be combing vintage album page, beautiful old papers, and vintage looking papers, Glimmer Mist, wonderful embellishments and fun techniques to make your journal your own. To make this truly unique, just like you are, we encourage you to bring your own old letters, papers and embellishments to personalize.
